Winter Extras

We leave one WEEK from today. There is so much to do before Departure Day, including making sure I'm caught up on blogging so we can (hopefully) blog our trip as we go. So, here are some assorted events and activities from January to March.
*One of Bryce's good friends was hospitalized unexpectedly in January. When she felt well enough, Bryce and I went down to visit her. Another friend was also visiting.
Lauren, Emerie, and Bryce had a good time together playing in the deserted children's play area.
*Friday night has been designated "movie night" around here.
*When Aubree has orthodontist appointments, the boys like to play on the iPads. Nellie spends some of her time with the boys, but then wanders over to the toys. She insisted I take a picture of her castle.
*Whenever we go to Katie's house (this time for Anna's birthday), Piper organizes a "show." This particular show even had judges (very biased judges).
*This is what happens when big boys play around on my bed; they knocked it off the risers.
*Aubree's young women's group made cookie dough for a girl's camp fundraiser.
They made well over 200 tubes! That's a lot of cookie dough.
*We still use St. Patrick's Day as an opportunity to remember my dad. He would have preferred we were decked out in orange, but this year we went for green.
*On a sunny day in between art classes, Tallie let the kids join her on top of her van. Even Nellie navigated the ladder and made her way up.
*We've had a few more pre-dance parties. This one was before a glow-in-the-dark dance.
We got glow-in-the-dark body paint, and the kids had fun painting designs on themselves and their friends. They said it looked really neat in the black lights.
Aubree has soooo many friends named Jack. Here are three of them at the dance:
*Nellie gave her first talk in primary! She wasn't nervous at all.
*We had our final Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner. I enjoyed not being in charge.
