Looks like we're a musical household. The kids get their love of music from Mark; I can only take credit for enforcing music lessons and practicing.
Aubree's group class recently held an "Anything Goes" concert. Aubree invited her friends, Lily and Jack, to perform "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry with her.
They didn't perform as well as they'd practiced, but they did a great job and had a lot of fun performing together.
Aubree's teen group performed Hungarian Dance and Believer. They were fantastic!
A week later, their group class met up with other Suzuki strings groups to perform in Olympia at the Capitol Building. Aubree, Bryton, and Kolton just barely learned to play Bach Double in time for the performance. They needed an extra pre-performance practice to make sure they were ready to go.
I won't post the whole Bach Double video, because it's almost 5 minutes long, but here's a clip from another of their songs. The acoustics in that building are incredible.
Aubree had a lot of fun spending the day with Alexis and Greta. Aubree especially liked getting Subway for lunch.
Nellie spends so much time watching her siblings practice, I guess it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise when she jumps into the fray.
