Aubree has a lot of toys. Lots and lots of toys. It's definitely time to scale back. However, there are a few types of toys that I love and don't mind having oodles of. Most of those toys are things that I remember playing with as a kid (oh, the power of nostalgia!) and are things that I feel foster creativity and expression; things such as Lincoln Logs, or kitchen foods and supplies, or Little People. Aubree loves playing with her Little People collection, and, thanks almost entirely to Grandma Winters, she has her own Little People world. This little world is beginning to take over our family room, but I enjoy watching her play with all the people and animals so much that I'm not too bothered with the invasion. Shhh...don't tell Aubree, but I hear she'll be getting even more Little People from G'ma Winters for her birthday.
