We are planning a family reunion trip to Myrtle Beach for next summer. Bryce and Thane are fascinated with the whole idea. In fact, ever since they found out, they've been plotting a business venture.
They started by collecting boxes. When they'd amassed quite a collection we finally thought to ask, "Why do you want to keep so many boxes?!"
"Well," Bryce explained, "we're going to fill the boxes with sand and when we go to Myrtle Beach, we're going to dig for turtle eggs and bring them home. Then we'll put the eggs in the boxes of sand, and when the eggs hatch, we'll sell them!"
Our trip is still a year away. It's too early to tell them digging for turtle eggs is illegal, right?
Oh, and in the meantime, they turned part of their box collection into a monument in their room.

From the title of your post, I thought you guys had got a pet. I'm glad to see it's just a cardboard dream. :)
