The day we started driving home from California (a series of blog posts about that adventure are just waiting to be written...), Aubree noticed that she had her first loose tooth. We decided this was particularly appropriate timing because her first tooth poked through her baby gums on an airplane flight to California when she was 10 months old.
My kids tend to be a little behind the curve in terms of teeth development, so finally getting a loose tooth was a HUGE deal to Aubree. She spent two solid days of driving completely entertained with wiggling her tooth and thinking about the best way to break the big news to all of her friends (who, of course, have all already lost numerous teeth).
Fast forward almost two weeks to this afternoon. That silly tooth is hanging on by a thread, but Aubree wanted to pull it out on her own. While Skyping with her cousins, she bent it down and out it popped (she told me it was important to document that she was Skyping when it came out).
And now she has an extra hole in her head. She couldn't be more excited.

I read this to Cheyenne, and she was happy for Aubree. Cheyenne does not have any loose teeth yet and has not lost any either. I know how important loosing your first
tooth is. We miss you all.
I agree. It is very important to document that she pulled it out while on Skype. It is equally important to document that her father had pulled a hammer and some pliers out of the toolbox to "assist" if needed.
