I'm now 30 weeks pregnant. Last week I had to go back for a follow-up ultrasound because at the 20-week ultrasound baby boy had a teeny cyst on his brain. The doctor suggested it was quite normal, but thought it might be a good idea to follow up - just in case.
So, we got an extra peek and found out that the cyst is gone and he is developing perfectly. In fact, for one of my babies, he seems to be a bit of a runt; he's only in the 60th percentile! There's a chance he won't be huge when he's born, but I'm not holding my breath.
After the ultrasound I met briefly with a doctor to review the results (I'm going to a midwives clinic with this pregnancy, so the doctors are not my doctors). When he saw the picture below, he stopped mid-sentence and exclaimed, "I've never seen a picture like that! It looks like he's clapping or praying. I think your baby might grow up to be the Pope!"
I don't think there's a high likelihood of that prediction coming true, but it is a cute picture.PS I don't think I've mentioned it yet - but two of my sisters (Colleen and Kira) are also pregnant and due just four and five weeks (respectively) after me. Both are also having boys! What a kick!!

Very cute! I'm glad that he's doing well-- and a runt! Wouldn't that be fun?
