I have a serious backlog of posts to write about all the fun adventures we've had this month. I'll get to them... sometime. Meanwhile, here are some pictures from our ward Chili cook-off tonight. It wasn't a Halloween party, per se, but kids were invited to wear their costumes.
It's nearly impossible to get a good picture of all three kids together. Here's the best I could get:
Thane's costume was good in theory, but the hat and sign (on the other side it reads "will work for candy") lasted about 2 1/2 minutes.
Aubree was adamant that she wanted to be Rapunzel. I tried to talk her out of it because princesses seem so common and overdone at Halloween. She was undeterred. I guess, in the end, she makes a pretty good Rapunzel.
In the end, there was only one other princess at the ward party. On the other hand, there were three other pirates. Figures.
