Big News! Soon we'll be moving from the "Sunshine State" to the "What is Sunshine? State."
Last night Mark officially accepted a job offer from Boeing in Seattle (more specifically, in Tukwila). We don't yet have a start date, but should know in the next few days. Mark's glad he'll be working for Boeing and is even more glad to be done with the job hunt. We're both excited to be moving to the West Coast and be (at least a little) closer to family.
After Boeing made the job offer I asked Bryce, "do you want Daddy to work on airplanes?!" "Yes!" he answered, but then he frowned and changed his mind. "No, I want Daddy to work on helicopters!"
What did we do to celebrate? Went to Disney World, of course. And, of course, I forgot my camera (I seem to be good at not documenting Thane's "first" activities).

Hip hip hooray!!!!
Congratulations. SO excited for you guys! Be sure to keep us posted on the big move.
Congrats to your hubby on the new job. Must be a big weight off your shoulders. Now you get to worry about moving cross country. But being closer to family will make it worth it. You better bottle up some of that sunshine to take with you. And I hope you like vampires.
Yay for the west coast! (You can stop and stay with us on your way down to visit your parents, hee hee.)
I'm very excited for you guys. It will be so nice for you to get settled again.
We have friends that live on Vashon Island and say that it is paradise. I guess the commute would be a bit much, though. :)
You are great with the catchy titles, by the way. It took me a few moments to get that one.
You mean "The Evergreen State". At least you're moving to the part where that designation is NOT a misnomer. My children will bring you guys plenty of sunshine when we visit.
Whoop-Whoop!! Grandchildren closer to me! We will be in the same time zone and everything! I would say have fun packing---but having someone else come and clean out your closets is even better. We can't wait for future updates on your progress.
Awesome news! I have to say that I am a little jealous. I love Seattle. I miss rain. Glad you are going to be closer!
