A Cold Day in Hades

12/13/08 - A day I never thought would happen. I completed a 5K!!! I even have pictures to prove it. Granted, our time isn't the greatest, but that's not the point. In fact, the night before the 5K I noticed I wasn't nervous and when I pondered that, I realized that "race," in my case, is really a misnomer. There was no sense of competition for me, I just wanted to see if I could actually run 3 miles and we did! The fastest person in the "race" finished in just over 15 minutes. Wow! In case you're wondering, no - we weren't last. :)

Great job Erin! You guys did great, and the biggest step is actually doing a race.

Congrats Erin! My dad has been running a local 7 mile race since before I was born. He has even offered me money to run with him. Maybe just maybe I will take him up on that this year.
PS- If you guys are able to come to the wedding reception here in July you could even run with me!!!

YOU DID IT!!!!!! I am absolutely AMAZED!! No Graff has ever ran that much, especially when there was no competition involved. You are an inspiration as always. Who knows, maybe you will get other Graffs to start running...well maybe not. :)I love you and congrats! I am very proud of you.

Wow! Good for you! That is so cool that you did that! I'll bet it was way easier to run it without pushing that stroller!
