How in the world?!?

To continue with yesterday's theme...

Today is laundry day. After washing the first load I went to move the clothes to the dryer. Upon opening the lid I noticed a crayon. "Oops," I thought, "a crayon is not a good thing, I hope it didn't cause any problems." Fast forward five minutes:
How did that happen? Judging from the state of the clothes, all those crayons used to have wrappers. I'm pretty sure my kids are not to blame. But where did those crayons come from and how did I possibly miss them? This was a load of underwear!
Oh well, it could have been much worse. Imagine the same scenario, only in the dryer! And on the positive side, now my washing machine is awfully pretty.

Two months later...This is what we found in our screen room today. Can you believe it?!?

Blast Off!

Here is the view from across the street from our home earlier this evening - truly spectacular! It was definitely one of the more amazing launches I've seen. The rays of the setting sun turned the smoke trail brilliant shades of yellow, pink, blue, and white. The pictures and video don't even begin to do it justice:
