I know you think snow in summer is impossible, but it's not. Yesterday (Tuesday, July 29, 2014), I played in snow!
It all started when we went to Mount Rainer.
Our friends (the Franks) were camping at Ohanapecosh and invited us to go on a hike and stay until we had to go (dad had a meeting at 8:30 pm and it took a hour and a half to get home). We gladly accepted and set off at 7:30am. G claimed Dad and stayed with him the whole time we hiked.
Told you there was snow!
We found a big field of snow and had a huge snowball fight. In summer!
When we got back to their campsite, I started playing painting with Gracee and Blake. That meant crushing berries to make ink and then using sticks to paint on bark.
Souvenirs!
Then we went to the river by their campsite for a swim. The water was extremely freezing.
Gracee decided to jump into the water from atop high rocks, while Blake and I picked berries for our paint and built a six-layered sand cake.
Bryce, Maggie, and Marcus contented themselves by, "making the water deeper".
After the river went to Grove of the Patriarchs. It took all of the kids to wrap around the biggest tree there.
After that we went home.
P.S. The bark pictures I made are for sale for 25 cents a piece.
