B plays T-ball

Since softball was my passion in high school, you'd think I'd be zealous about teaching my kids to play, right?
Nope.
We did, however, sign Bryce up for t-ball this season, and I did manage to go out and throw with him once before the season began.  Bryce, in his typical positive way, loved playing ball.  He was excited to be playing on a team with a couple of his favorite buddies, Jeffrey and Grant.
I volunteered to help coach, and managed to make it to most of the practices.  I did not, however, manage to help Bryce practice outside of the scheduled times.  Poor kid.
T-ball is a painfully slow sport to watch.  Despite the name "tee"-ball, the coaches actually pitch to the kids until they get a hit. There are no outs, so the inning is over once every kid on the team has had a chance to bat.  Then they switch.
Bryce actually managed to hit this ball, which is kind of impressive considering his eyes are closed!
I'm thinking I may have Aubree try out softball next year, but maybe we'll take a year off from t-ball...
