We got about one inch of snow today, which meant school was cancelled, Mark worked from home, it took our neighbor 2 1/2 hours to get to work (normally 30 minutes), there were accidents galore, and Christmas Break officially started one day early.
I'd forgotten how laborious and time consuming it is to get kids fully geared up for snow play.
Poor Graham had a very steep learning curve when it came to trying to walk in all his glorious puffiness.
All the neighbor kids poured into the street, and many of them had sleds, which made for a very fun morning.
By noon, it began to rain and now most of the snow is melted. Can't say I mind much. One solid day of snow fun every couple months is just about perfect in my book.

In California, 1 inch of snow would cancel school too and cause car boo boos. Glad you had a fun day in the snow.
