One of my sisters recently told me about a conversation she had with another sister. "All my sisters are so crafty!" Sister #2 observed, then added, "but not me!"
This conversation keeps coming back to me, mostly because I find it terribly humorous. No doubt, Kira is super duper crafty. If she posted on her blog all the cute, crafty, creative things she does, she would have a craft blog instead of a mommy-blog. Lauren I think has great capacity for craftiness, but she's a full time college student/part-time worker/full time newlywed and I don't think she has much time to indulge in her creative whims. Colleen, Katie, and me? Not so much. If I posted pictures on my blog every time I semi-successfully completed a craft....
Oh wait, I do.
I saw something like this on Pinterest and loved it so much I actually attempted to make it. Only, I'm too impatient to do artsy crafty things "right," so I take shortcuts and then get frustrated that they don't turn out as well as I'd like. *Sigh* Still, I'm mostly happy with the way this wall hanging turned out (it's the sentiment expressed I like the most).

It turned out fabulous! I love to craft, but I tend to be a procrastinator so I don't get much crafting done. But I keep buying the supplies for my someday crafts.
