Outburst Junior

I keep a running list of funny/memorable things my kids do or say with the intention of compiling them into a catch-all post someday.  But this one deserves it's own post.
As a quick background, Thane has recently decided to embrace his two-ness.  Tantrums?  Oh, yes.  Following directions? Not so much.  Maintaining a relatively moderate noise-level? Not a chance.
Which brings us to last Sunday at church.  In Sacrament meeting. While the Sacrament is being passed.
The good news is apparently Thane was listening to the sacrament prayer, "Oh, God, the Eternal Father..."
The bad news is, he doesn't know how to whisper.
"Oh, God?" he asked.  Then, seeming to like the sound of that phrase, he repeated, "oh, God. Oh, GOD......OHHHHH, GOD!!"
Mark pulled Thane onto his lap, trying to quiet and distract him.  He did manage to distract him.  He did not manage to quiet him.
"Dad! You have a booger! A booger, Dad!  A BOOOOOOGER!  Get that BOOGER DAD! THE BOOGER!!!!!"
Can't wait to see what he comes up with at church tomorrow.

Ha ha ha ha ha. Maybe I shouldn't worry that Nathan isn't talking yet. Unarticulated loud noise in church CAN be a blessing.
