Birthday Pilgrimage - Part 2

Two of my sisters (and one of Mark's) live in Utah.  My other two sisters (one in Idaho and the other in California) also made the trek to be at Kira's for Aubree's birthday.  Didn't I tell you Aubree is spoiled?  Of course, we love any excuse to get together.  Have I mentioned before that my sister's are rock stars?
Erin, Katie and Kira (kind of lame we didn't get a picture of all the sisters)
Saturday was a low-key, recover-from-the-trip day.  The kids played with their cousins and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
After the kids went to bed, the adults stayed up late playing a home-made version of Loaded Questions and we laughed till our cheeks hurt.
Sunday morning was Aubree's big day - 6 years old!  Everyone helped to make it a very special occasion.  Ableskevers and apple-puffed pancakes for breakfast, heaps of presents, curly hair, and the focused attention of her parents, cousins, and all her aunts and uncles.  What more could she want?
After church we had an amazing dinner/Princess party.  Kira (aka "Queen of Parties") put together a wonderful family affair, complete with decorations, crafts, treats, and costumes.
skyping with G'ma and Papa Graff so they can be a part of the festivities
Aubree was thrilled with it all.  Colleen even made not one, but TWO of her famous cakes (Aubree's been talking about those cakes ever since Tahoe in January!).  It was a perfect day for an amazing girl.
